His commitment to client advocacy began early as a student practitioner with the University of Maryland Law Clinic, where he delivered free legal representation to Baltimore’s inner-city community.

Mr. Shaffie earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law (studying as a visiting student at Loyola Law School). He holds a Master of Science from the London School of Economics and Political Science and received his Bachelor of Arts from Johns Hopkins University.
