Adam J. Telanoff
SENIOR COUNSEL
Prior to joining Parker Shaffie in 2024, Adam Telanoff had an eclectic career. As a litigator, Adam focused on commercial litigation representing a variety of clients from small to large businesses. Adam successfully litigated cases before Administrative Tribunals, Arbitrators, and State and Federal courts. Most of his matters have been in California, but Adam has handled litigation in Colorado, Connecticut, and Georgia.
Adam also brings a business perspective to litigation, he was General Counsel for GameWorks Entertainment, a national Family Entertainment Center and Cascade Finance Partners, a private equity fund. In addition, Adam was co-Founder and General Counsel for Filmhub, an online film distribution startup funded by Silicon Valley Venture Capital firms. Adam is also an experienced educator, having taught law classes at UCLA Extension and Los Angeles Mission College.
Adam earned his BA from the University of California, Berkeley. He earned his JD degree from Pepperdine University, School of Law. While at Pepperdine, Adam was on Law Review and his student paper American Parent Bank Liability for Foreign Branch Deposits, Which Party Bears Sovereign Risk? was published in the Pepperdine Law Review. He studied international law at the National University of Singapore where he also interned with Singapore law firm Bernard, Rada, & Lee. He spent a semester in London, where he participated in an international moot court competition and interned with UK firm Nabarro Nathanson. Adam earned an LLM at the University of Washington, School of Law with his thesis Protecting America’s Crown Jewels: Section 301 and Asian Copyright Protection for American Music.
